The occurrences of UFOs shock the whole of mankind in the first place. We thought we were the only living intelligent creatures in the universe before those extraterrestrials visited Earth. Fear, anxiety, and curiosity flowed into our minds all of a sudden. Different reactions and behaviors were made, and some diverse thoughts of the authenticity of UFOs spread through society. It is interesting to observe how will humankind dealing with such major events by various approaches.

    I agree: UFOs are pretty freaky. And I can see why people would prefer not to believe in their existence.

    One question suggested by your post title is what the implications for science might be if we could understand UFO technology? There has actually been some writing in that area if you are interested in science.

Research Blog #7: Theoretical Frame

  My theoretical frame is based on the article, "What Can Scientists Learn from Alien Hunters". It organizes the fields of studies where astrobiologists and astronomers were on, based on their methods of systematic experimentation. The article directly points out the reason for the boundary work was because of their various approaches to scientific researches on extraterrestrials life topics. By analyzing their methods on scientific studies and looking deep at some political influences, I could conclude with how does the boundary-work affects the study progress on extraterrestrial life for over decades.
